2D Work
Topic: Perspective
The work drawn by pencil and charcoal responds to lived perspective, which is perceived by me looking from the floor to the ceiling. I used shading loyal to the real world creating a sense of depth and volume. The objects at the front have the most details showing their qualities.
Topic: Composition, Pen and Ink
This work responds to one composition of class objects by a view finder. The drawing is asymmetrical but the weight is balanced. It got sparse space next to the crowded. There are details created by contrast between dark and light, also some textures formed by brush and ink.
Topic: Colour
This watercolour drawing responds to the application of colour. I used sets of analogous colours to create harmony. For some parts, I drew their shapes, and for others, I summarized by filling colour. Also, I hid subtle colours within colours, including cold and warm contrast, so that it looks more alive.
